
The Premier League returns this weekend and there is plenty of interesting news to dig into ahead of the domestic action coming back.
A number of players are at risk of missing this weekend’s matches as they are still on international duty with nations in South America. Liverpool’s Brazilian contingent warned they would likely be absent when speaking on Thursday.
They did receive a boost, though, with the news Trent Alexander-Arnold was likely to make his return to action against Watford on Saturday.
Elsewhere yesterday, Sergio Aguero scored in his first Barcelona appearance and FIFA chief Infantino opened the door to a World Cup in Israel, Palestine and their neighbours.
