Leeds United vs Liverpool: Jurgen Klopp's side aiming to continue strong start to Premier League season

Daniel James is expected to make his debut for Leeds against Liverpool and manager Marcelo Bielsa will be hoping his long-term target can have an immediate impact and help his side to their first league win of the season.

Stuart Dallas withdrew from international duty for personal reasons but is now available for the hosts, as are Junior Firpo and Mateusz Klich — both of whom have recovered from COVID-19 — along with Raphinha.

Roberto Firmino is out through injury while James Milner is still a doubt for the visitors. In more positive news for Jurgen Klopp, Virgil van Dijk and Harvey Elliott are fit and available.

Bielsa is in the habit of making history since taking over at Elland Road and today he has the chance to secure his side’s first victory over Liverpool in any competition for more than 20 years. His opposite number, however, could see Liverpool become the first team to record 50 top-flight victories over Leeds.
